Abstract:With the social concept of ecological civilization and quality education advancement, natural education has flourished in rural areas under rural revitalization and related policies. In recent years, many cases of natural education have been intervening in the rural landscape. However, there are many problems in the rural natural education landscape, such as a need for more humanistic connotations, a lack of sustainable overall planning, and a too-patterned design. To solve the above problems and realize the function of rural landscape natural education more comprehensively, this paper explores the development path of rural planning and design based on the concept of natural education, builds a rural natural education system based on the characteristics of rural natural environment resources and natural, cultural resources, and puts forward a rural natural education mechanism including multiple participation mechanism and long-term operation mechanism. Combined with the characteristics of the rural landscape, four landscape renewal strategies of “creating natural tour lines, building farming and animal husbandry experience, creating theme space, and jointly building micro-gardens” were proposed and combined with case analysis and verification, aiming to provide new ideas for rural landscape planning and design, and promote rural revitalization and rural green sustainable development.
