Urban parks, as an important green infrastructure, are the basic needs for people now, and their management and service quality should adapt to the needs of the new era of development. It is clear that an efficient and scientific management system is of the essence for the sustainable development of the landscape architecture industry. In the face of the challenges of park construction and management in the new era, by drawing on the successful experience of foreign urban park planning, construction and management-related laws, regulations, policies, management models, operation and maintenance, this paper expounds the inspiration for long-term management of urban parks in China, such as improving the system of laws, regulations and standard of park management, promoting the reform of park management system, implementing the park financial security system and park operation performance assessment. At the same time, it is hoped that the park management can learn from foreign experience and keep pace with the times, such as timely updating of planning, docking with information management, etc. It is expected that this research can provide a reference for the sustainable development of domestic urban park management.
