Selected poems in the Qiuxia Garden chronicle were analyzed to extract word frequencies and statistical frequencies to depict and infer the historical soundscape of the Qiuxia Garden. Then, through sound walks, six important paths in the garden were selected, and the characteristics of the soundscape perception of Qiuxia Garden today were depicted through the sound walks and participatory experiences of 23 garden visitors.
