Abstract:Under the background of high-quality development of rural tourism and the protection and inheritance of ethnic villages, the study of rural landscape image is of great significance for the protection of rural cultural heritage and the continuation of landscape uniqueness. Taking the Eight Villages of Chengyang in Guangxi as an example, the UGC image data of tourists are collected, and the landscape image characteristics of the Eight Villages of Chengyang are analyzed through content analysis. The research shows that: (1) In terms of cognitive image, the landscape image of Eight Villages of Chengyang is divided into eight categories of landscape image elements, three dimensions of a landscape image, and four typical combinations of landscape image; the hot spots of a landscape image of eight villages in Chengyang are mainly concentrated in the traditional Dong village buildings such as wind and rain bridge, drum-tower and stilted building. The hot spots are Yan Stockade, Ma’an Stockade, and Ping Stockade. (2) In the moving image, the tourists are given priority to with “unique, quiet, spectacular” positive emotions. (3) The characteristics of eight villages in Chengyang landscape image are uniqueness, hierarchy, implicit and rhythmic. The research conclusion is of great significance for the continuation of the overall landscape image of symbolic, identity, and regional settlements and the clarification of the protection and utilization direction of national landscape heritage.
