Abstract:Buddhist temple ruins pocket park is a compound park combining Buddhist temple ruins and pocket parks, which has good construction prospects. This article clari es the necessity of the construction of a Buddhist temple site-type pocket park, discusses the planning and design method based on the extraction of traditional Buddhist temple elements, selects Nanjing Tianjie Temple as a typical research object and applies it speci cally. The purpose of this study is to effectively protect the ruins of Buddhist temples, and at the same time give full play to the functions of pocket parks, and solve the problem of homogeneity that exists in pocket parks, hoping to provide a certain theoretical reference for future construction.
