Abstract:Chongqing WanzhouXinyue Bay located on the north bank of the Yangtze River in Nangdu Town, Wanzhou District. It is a typical hilly terrain. Due to the off-season changes formed by the water level after the completion of the ThreeGorges Project and the large-scale immigration relocation in the Three Georges area, the ecological environment, geological, geomorphological environment and ecosystem balance on both sides of the reservoir are affected. Guided by the landscape ecology, this paper explores the land use pattern and landscape design technique in the vegetation hydro- uctuation belt on the east and west banks of Nangdu River in the Nangdu Town, Wanzhou District, Chongqing from the vegetation landscape layer. It proposes the specific implementation methods of artificial vegetation reconstruction in the hydro- uctuation belt and the maintenance scheme
